HOW TO STORE AND HOW TO WEAR YOUR JEWELLERY:
♥ It is important to store your jewellery in the A/BARENESS cotton bag or in a jewellery box when not in use. Why? To prevent oxidation of the metal so you don’t have to clean it as often as if it’s just laying around.
♥ It's not a good idea to sleep with your jewellery on and you should also avoid having them on in the shower when soap gets in both chains and pendants.
♥ Always apply perfume before you put on your jewellery - never vice versa, as it may damage the look or color of your jewellery.
♥ When in use, the jewellery changes in color depending on how much you sweat, which varies from person to person. Another factor is the air humidity, which can also affect the color.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR JEWELLERY - QUICK AND EASY:
♥ The fastest way to freshen up your jewellery is to use a jeweller's cloth purchased from a jeweler.
♥ If there still is tarnishing or spots on the surfaces after using a jewellers cloth, the best thing is to buy a polish made for brass, like f.ex from the brand Bistro. Brass polish can be bought at regular supermarkets.
♥ This small mixture consisting of the following, will do wonders to make your jewellery shine again. This method works best for chains, as larger surfaces that has spots, might also need some polishing to shine as new:
1. 1 cup of warm water + 1/2 teaspoon table salt + juice from 1/2 lemon
2. Stir until the salt has dissolved
3. Place the brass jewellery in the mixture and remove it when it has reached the desired look.
4. Dry off with a towel. Be careful to dry it well, as water can leave spots on the jewellery if it´s not dried properly.
